Worms Level

There are still bees on this level, but they're aren't half the problem. The horizontal vines that stretch beneath Donkey Kong have worms crawling back and forth on them, and not terribly slowly. The problem is that your bug spray only knocks off the first two. After that, they are immobilized. This means they stop in place and don't move for several seconds. This usually happens when you're blowing bug spray up Donkey Kong's can. The problem with this is that while they're immobilized, they block your bug spray. You can spray all you want, but it only freezes them longer—and your spray doesn't get past them to Donkey Kong. This is a major pain in the tush.

To make matters worse, Donkey Kong has a supply of coconuts and he occasionally wings them at Mario—and he's a pretty good shot. They aren't random landing points; he aims for Mario's position and if Mario doesn't move, he'll end up with a headache.

Stanley is again trying to spray Donkey Kong in the sack to send him up the vines. While there are bees here, the worms are the major pain. They move back and forth across the four horizontal vines, obstructing Stanley's line of sight to Donkey Kong.

Stanley continues poofing his sprayer. DK is almost at the top, even now lobbing a coconut. Stanley has to move pretty fast to get out of the way.

Success! Stanley has sprayed Donkey Kong all the way to the top, burying his head in another beehive.

Donkey Kong falls, beehive on his head.

The mighty ape is down!.
