Networking
I have experience setting up and maintaining client-server and peer-to-peer networks running various operating systems.

Do you need your network maintained or serviced?  Would you like one set up?  If it has anything to do with a network, give me a call!

This depends on the job.  Labor for a network setup will generally run about a half hour per machine on the network, including installing a network card and software.  Cabling the network depends on whether you'll be running a client-server or peer-to-peer network, the number of machines, how far spaced they physically are, avenues to run network cables, etc.  Equipment costs also depend on what type of network you'll be running. Contact me with your network intentions and I'll work up an estimate for you.  Consultation is free, including any time I may have to come out and survey your location (locally to the Greater Bangor area).

Service and network maintenance depends on how much you need done and on how many machines.  A network checkup, for example, to verify everything is working properly, that network protocols and software are correctly installed, etc., would be roughly an hour for every four machines on your network, at a one hour minimum.
