Cud Flashes
in the Pan |
|
|
|
I do a monthly
flash-fiction column at
www.TheCud.com.au where I writer flash-fiction stories,
usually 75-800 words each, and generally speculative fiction (i.e.,
sci-fi, fantasy, horror, etc.). I tend to do themed columns every
month. Here's an archive of what's there. Note that November is a
best-of issue that reruns popular content from earlier in the year.
If I haven't updated this page, just hit The Cud's Web site.
-
January 2012 -
The Cud's annual "All Things Lit" issue. Includes just one
flash-fiction piece, along with a 725-word sword & sorcery poem, a
3,000-word mainstream short story, and an 8,700-word ebook reprint
of "Cone Zero,
Sphere Zero" (from Nemonymous 8: Cone Zero and
Atheist
Tales)
-
December 2011 - Theme: "Gifts"
-
October 2011 - Theme: "Halloween Horror"
-
September 2011 - Theme: "Swords & Dungeons, Sorcery &
Dragons"
-
August 2011 - Theme: "Dystopia in a Day" - dystopian
fiction being one of my favorites, this was really fun to write
-
July 2011 - Theme: "Final Frontiers," in honor of the 42nd
anniversary of the moon landing (and in honor of the number 42,
naturally). This was the first month the column had a theme.
-
June 2011 - Featuring horror, super hero, sword & sorcery,
and dystopian sci-fi
